Applications to our faith journey will be explored. • November 15:  Bringing Advent Alive in Your Home—For many of us, December is a month of frenzied shopping, decorating, baking, entertaining, etc. Let’s recapture Advent as a time for mindful preparation and joyful hope, anticipating the light of Christ. We will share Catholic Advent traditions with practical, hands on ideas for every stage of life: single or family, young children, teens and empty nesters.  Meet in Room 22/23 from 7:00pm-8:30.
  • Homework Hangout:  Need help with homework or a place to do homework? Join us on Mondays in November (5,12,26) for Homework Hangout.  Core members, Josh Tierra and Savanna Ziegler will host these Monday nights at Boulder Creek Coffee House in Lawrenceville from 6pm-8pm.
  • XLT:  Tuesday, 11/6, 5:30pm-9:45pm  You are invited to join us with other teens in the Archdiocese for a night of Praise & Worship and a guest speaker.  We do make a dinner stop!  Permission slip is required and can be picked up from the LT Info board in the LT room.

  • Life Teen Giving Tree:  Our Christmas tree for kids/teens in our local shelter is up in the Life Teen room.  We are asking our LT members to take a ornament tag that is hanging on our tree and buy a gift for the child on the tag.  The gift does not need to be wrapped, just attach your tag to the gift.  Gift needs to be returned by Sunday, 12/2/18  in the Life Teen Room.
  • Night Shelter:  Saturday, 12/8  What a great opportunity during Advent to serve those most in need.  We leave the church at 5pm and return to St. Oliver’s around 9:30pm.  Permission slip can be found on the LT Service board in the LT room. This event fills up fast, so get your permission slip in ASAP.

Important Dates for 2019:

1/11/19:  Life Night Training

1/26/19:  World Youth Day Rally

3/1-3/19:  Spring Retreat

Our Life Teen closet needs SODA.  Please donate any type of 2 liter sodas for our Sunday Life Nights!

Thank you for the prayers while I recuperated from my surgery!  I will be back in the office on a regular basis beginning November 1st.

In Christ’s service,
